Queen's Film Theatre
Queen's University Belfast Film Society presents an industry panel discussion to launch the inaugural Queen's Student Film Festival, followed by a screening of Aislinn Clarke’s Fréwaka and the main festival screening of all award nominated films, culminating in award announcements and presentation.

INDUSTRY PANEL (11.30am)
Aislinn Clarke (writer/director), Chris Patterson (producer) and Mervyn Marshall (filmmaker/QUB Film Studies) will discuss their experiences in the film industry and offer advice for young filmmakers.
FRÉWAKA (12.05pm)
Aislinn Clarke’s (The Devil's Doorway) second feature is a chilling Irish-language horror that employs local folklore to explore a homecare worker’s painful past. The screening will be introduced by Aislinn Clarke.

Award Finalists Screening and Ceremony
Curated screening of the award nominated films across the Animation, Documentary and Live-Action Short categories, followed by award announcements and presentation. Main awards include Best Animated Short, Best Documentary Short, Best Live-Action Short and The Audience Choice Award.
Award Nominated Films
The following films have been shortlisted as nominees for the best in their categories, and will also be in the running for Best Director, Best Writer, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Production Design, Best Sound, Best Performance and the Audience Choice Award.
